Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Donald Summer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeganathan Mondero!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Summer as Mondero shoots in.
Mondero slips a jab and a cross from Summer.
Summer misses with a double jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mondero looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mondero tries to close the distance and clinch up but Summer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Summer looks to land a left hand but Mondero moved out of range nicely.

Summer has momentary wrist control but Mondero slips an elbow through the middle.
Summer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Summer tries to get out of the position.

Summer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mondero on the ground.

Mondero shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Summer napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Mondero goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Summer has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mondero but great work by Summer.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Summer tries to bum rush Mondero with a series of wild strikes but Mondero uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

so Mondero counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Mondero is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Mondero sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Summer's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mondero has control of Summer's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Summer regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Jeganathan Mondero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well Mondero has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
