The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabago stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rabago wants it to stay on the feet.
Oleander shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rabago is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rabago is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Oleander unloads with some shots from mount but Rabago bucks and avoids them well.

Oleander has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rabago stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oleander swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rabago must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Rabago throws a lazy right hand but Oleander sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Oleander fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rabago sprawls well initially but Oleander persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Oleander is looking to work some ground and pound but Rabago has wrist control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rabago leaves Oleander with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Adam Rabago is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Oleander uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rabago.
Oleander changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rabago looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Oleander changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rabago tries to avoid it but Oleander manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rabago to the ground. Rabago escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rabago breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Rabago throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Oleander stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
