The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald shoots in for a takedown but Power shows good takedown defense.

and McDonald decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Power's guard.
Power looking for a sweep. Not yet Power, not yet.

Power working for a triangle but McDonald defends it easily.

Power escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McDonald gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

McDonald drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McDonald jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Power working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McDonald doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Power is tightening it up a little... McDonald has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! McDonald reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! McDonald taps out! nice BJJ there by Power!
