Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mazhan Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lee's choice of entrance music: Kick out the Jams by The MC5s. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Ali's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ali ducks under a wild hook from Lee.
Lee throws the left hand but Ali avoids the punch easily.
Ali lands with a shot to the body.
Lee is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ali sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Lee swats away the attempt to clinch by Ali.

Ali pushes Lee up against the cage in a clinch.
Ali tries to work over Lee's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ali tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Ali shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ali throws a strike but Lee avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lee seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Ali wants to control but Lee is keeping busy.
Lee passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ali!
Ali tries to lock up and control but Lee gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

A close round but Rufus Lee will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ali throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ali throws a hook but Lee blocks it.

Ali is looking to wear down Lee with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Ali closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lee circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ali throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lee.

Ali fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lee sprawls well initially but Ali persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Lee makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lee.
Ali stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ali has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Lee lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ali!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ali tries to hold on but Lee postures up.
Ali is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ali blocking the ground and pound.
Lee tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Lee has hold of Ali's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ali manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Lee wants to finish this one by submission but Ali is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Lee.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Rufus Lee will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Lee is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ali.
Ali throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lee lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lee.
Ali blocks a head kick by Lee.

Ali thumps Lee with a low kick.
Ali throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ali off to one side.
Lee's corner calls for a 1-2. Lee obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ali fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lee on the side of the head.
Lee misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lee swats away the attempt to clinch by Ali.
Lee fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ali is out of range.

and Lee counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ali throws a front kick that sends Lee stumbling back into the cage.
Ali takes one on the button.
Ali shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Lee lands a body shot.
Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ali lands a jab-cross combination.
Ali tries to clinch but Lee is having none of it.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
