Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Corey Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Popeye Orion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor comes to the cage accompanied by Dark Tranquillity - Therein. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Orion.
Orion misses with a two punch combination.
Orion scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Taylor slips a jab and a cross from Orion.
No joy there for Orion, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Orion tries to clinch up but Taylor circles away and keeps his distance.

Taylor drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Taylor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Orion swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Orion utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Orion is on top in guard.

Taylor manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Taylor has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Orion's face.
Orion wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Taylor.

BOOM! Taylor connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Orion wants to hold on but Taylor pushes him away.
A big strike lands for Taylor! That's really hurt Orion and he's turned his back - Taylor keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Taylor Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
