Creed comes to the cage accompanied by James Brown - Living in America. Hammond has chosen Afterlife as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammond misses with a double jab.
Creed misses the jab.
Creed misses with a straight left.
Hammond swinging wilding here.
Hammond misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Creed.
A cross from Creed lands.
Creed wants to land a leg kick but Hammond is out of range.
Creed lands a nice looking body shot.
Creed connects with the punch.
Hammond drops his hands momentarily and Creed takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like John Hammond has been cut.
Creed keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Hammond is rocked!
Creed throws a jab but it's blocked by Hammond.
Hammond is still on wobbly legs! Can Creed finish him?

Hammond seems to have recovered his senses.
Creed pushes Hammond away with a front kick.
Creed connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Creed lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Creed tries to bum rush Hammond with a series of wild strikes but Hammond uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Creed cracks Hammond with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Hammond tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Creed pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Hammond is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
