PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damian Uzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bravo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Break Stuff. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Damian Uzi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Bravo!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uzi slaps away a takedown attempt from Bravo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bravo shoots for a double leg takedown but Uzi sprawls well. He's pushed Bravo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Uzi keeps the fight on the outside.
Bravo fails with a takedown attempt.
Damian Uzi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Bravo.

Bravo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Uzi wants to get back to full guard but Bravo has passed into side control.
Bravo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Uzi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Uzi is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bravo throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Bravo avoids the attempt from Uzi to control.

Bravo has hold of Uzi's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Uzi manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Uzi wants to hold on but Bravo pushes him away.
Uzi manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Bravo is pressing down on Uzi's thigh, looking to free his foot. Uzi is holding on for now.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Bravo has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Uzi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Bravo is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Uzi pulls down on the head and he's put Bravo to sleep! This one is all over!
