Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Colin McDermott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Ytlear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ytlear is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Necrophobic - The Third Antichrist. Colin McDermott has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ytlear closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming McDermott to the mat! McDermott manages to get full guard.
Ytlear stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McDermott swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

McDermott tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ytlear was well out of range. Poor timing from McDermott.

McDermott drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ytlear manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McDermott has Ytlear in his guard.

Ytlear drops back looking for a leg! McDermott is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McDermott manages to kick Ytlear off! Ytlear jumps back into McDermott's guard.

McDermott escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ytlear gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Ytlear uses his free foot to push down on McDermott's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for McDermott.

That was a close second round but I would say that Colin McDermott will probably get the nod.
