The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potko closes the distance and clinches up with McCollom, looking for a takedown. Potko pushes McCollom against the cage but McCollom circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Potko scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
McCollom tries to get to full guard but Potko has control of the leg.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McCollom can do anything to dispel that myth.
McCollom won't allow Potko to pass to mount.
Potko is working hard here to advance position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McCollom tries to roll over but Potko keeps him under control.

Potko in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. McCollom tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Potko!
