Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zack Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Yazerman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Zack Clark!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Edward Yazerman!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yazerman rushes Clark and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Yazerman looking for a takedown.

Yazerman escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Clark shoots for a takedown but Yazerman saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Yazerman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clark as he jumps to the side.
Clark fails with the takedown.
Clark shoots in but Yazerman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zack Clark. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Yazerman has taken the fight to the clinch.

Yazerman tries to pass the half guard into mount. Clark knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Clark had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Yazerman defends it easily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Yazerman counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Clark shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Clark shoots in for a takedown but Yazerman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Clark is rocked!
Edward Yazerman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yazerman doesn't manage to clinch there - Clark circles away.
Oh Clark is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yazerman is looking to clinch but Clark is avoiding it.
Clark seems to have got his legs back now.
Yazerman throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Clark stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Yazerman feints and as Clark raises his hands in defense, Yazerman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Yazerman thows a big elbow that misses.
Yazerman is working Clark over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Clark really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Yazerman stands and throws Clark's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Clark is working to avoid the ground and pound but Yazerman connects with a decent elbow.
Yazerman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Yazerman is looking to take a break and control but Clark is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Yazerman thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Yazerman decides to stand back up.
Clark misses with a wild combination.

and Clark decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Yazerman's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Yazerman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Clark shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Yazerman napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Clark is trying to get an arm triangle but Yazerman is defending well.

Clark stalling away here and it's allowed Yazerman to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Clark tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Clark is trying to control Yazerman's posture but Yazerman avoids it.
Clark on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Clark tries to get out of the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Yazerman blocks a head kick by Clark.

Clark is in a horrible position here. Yazerman smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Clark knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yazerman on the ground.
Clark is desperately trying to improve his position but Yazerman has a good base and remains in mount.

Edward Yazerman comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Yazerman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
