Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Swahili Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tadeusz Moniuszko!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moniuszko is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bob's half guard.
Bob is trying to maintain the position but Moniuszko is very close to passing his half guard.
Moniuszko passes to side control.
Moniuszko is trying to ground and pound but Bob uses the momentary lack of control by Moniuszko to regain half guard.
Bob pushes Moniuszko off looking to stand but Moniuszko dives back in and keeps control.
Moniuszko wants to pass the guard but Bob is defending well.
Moniuszko is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Moniuszko is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Moniuszko stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Moniuszko closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bob to the mat! Bob manages to get full guard.

Moniuszko is pushing down on Bob's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bob is fighting to maintain full guard but Moniuszko has managed to sneak the leg through.

Moniuszko is looking to take a break and control but Bob is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Moniuszko sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bob's guard.
Bob wants to get back to his feet.
Moniuszko is trying to control. Bob wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
