Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinnie Collins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Green rushes Collins and presses him up against the cage.

Green gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Collins regains guard.

Collins throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Greens head.
Green has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Collins is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Green is breathing heavily.
Collins scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Green tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Collins smiles and moves away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Collins lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Collins decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Green, up you get!

Collins keeps control of Green as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Collins throws a punch but it's blocked by Green.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Collins creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Green drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Collins manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Green has Collins in his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Green postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Collins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Green, into his guard.
