Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gokay Kvr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yamuza Akimocha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gokay Kvr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kvr needs to keep his hands up - Akimocha had a free shot at his head there.
Akimocha closes the distance and clinches up with Kvr, looking for a takedown. Akimocha pushes Kvr against the cage but Kvr circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kvr had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Akimocha defends it easily.
Akimocha is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kvr throws his legs up looking for a submission but Akimocha uses it to pass to side control.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

That was a close round but I would say that Gokay Kvr will probably get the nod.
