The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillinger takes a swing at Wechsel's ribcage but misses.
Dillinger misses with the combination.
Dillinger blocks a head kick by Wechsel.
Nice body kick from Wechsel.
Dillinger misses with an uppercut.
Dillinger looks to land a left hand but Wechsel moved out of range nicely.
Wechsel avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Wechsel is looking to slow Dillinger down with leg kicks.
John Dillinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Wechsel throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Dillinger uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Dillinger throws a lazy right hand but Wechsel sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Wechsel has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wechsel there as he acknowledges the shot.

Wechsel ducks under a wild hook from Dillinger.
Wechsel steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dillinger.
Dillinger throws the left hand but Wechsel avoids the punch easily.

Dillinger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dillinger takes a swing at Wechsel's ribcage but misses.
Dillinger fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wechsel manages to avoid it.
A left lands for Wechsel.
Wechsel thuds his right hand into Dillinger's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Dillinger chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Wechsel can pounce on him.
Dillinger is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wechsel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Wechsel fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Wechsel throws a leg kick which misses Dillinger's front leg but catches the back leg as Dillinger tries to avoid it.
Dillinger on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

John Dillinger's cut is getting worse.
Wechsel throws a shot to the body.
Dillinger tries to move into range but Wechsel moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Wechsel thumps Dillinger with a low kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Wechsel darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Dillinger shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

John Dillinger's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Wechsel throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Dillinger stumbling backwards into the cage! Dillinger bounces back off the cage towards Wechsel, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Wechsel lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Wechsel celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
