Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Drysdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramon Jodoin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ralph Drysdale! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramon Jodoin! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drysdale keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jodoin. Drysdale dodges the punch combination from Jodoin.
Jodoin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Drysdale was well out of range. Poor timing from Jodoin. Drysdale clinches up against the cage. Drysdale misses with a punch to the body.
Jodoin tries to circle away but Drysdale has him pinned against the cage. Drysdale has Jodoin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jodoin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Drysdale drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jodoin gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jodoin wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jodoin wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Drysdale wants a takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ralph Drysdale. That's going to take a lot out of him. Drysdale keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jodoin's efforts to push away. Drysdale drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jodoin pulls his leg out and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jodoin misses with a few strikes there.

No luck for Drysdale with that takedown attempt. Jodoin with a body punch. A glancing blow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drysdale uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jodoin. Drysdale fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jodoin jabs at Drysdale's body. Drysdale is breathing heavily. Jodoin looks to land a combination. Drysdale sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Ralph Drysdale has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Drysdale changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jodoin tries to avoid it but Drysdale manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jodoin to the ground. Jodoin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Drysdale slips a jab and a cross from Jodoin.
Jodoin throws a series of punches but Drysdale avoids them all with ease. A cross from Jodoin lands. Jodoin tests Drysdale's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Drysdale is rocked! Jodoin connects with a stiff jab that staggers Drysdale - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ramon Jodoin!
