The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McIntyre fails in his attempt to clinch.
McIntyre tries to clinch but Daley moves out of range.
McIntyre dives in and grabs Daley's left leg, looking for a takedown. Daley pushes down on McIntyre's head and hops out.
McIntyre takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Brian McIntyre has been cut.
Daley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Daley lands a nice shot that snaps McIntyre's head back.
McIntyre avoids the head kick by Daley.
Daley throws a right hand that McIntyre ducks under and follows up with a left that McIntyre also avoids with ease.
Daley throws a jab but it's blocked by McIntyre.

Daley lands a big head kick that sends McIntyre tumbling to the mat! Daley takes a step backwards and waves McIntyre back to his feet - he wants the finish!

McIntyre is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McIntyre looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
McIntyre is still on wobbly legs! Can Daley finish him?
McIntyre shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Paul Daley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian McIntyre.
Some wild striking there from Daley.
McIntyre seems to have recovered his senses.

McIntyre changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Daley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Daley is looking to work his way out of this bad position but McIntyre is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McIntyre staying calm.
McIntyre prevents Daley from escaping the position.

Daley throws McIntyre to one side and escapes!
Daley bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McIntyre's head.

That has opened up Brian McIntyre's cut even more.
McIntyre fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Paul Daley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McIntyre looks gassed!

Daley lands the left hand.
McIntyre avoids the head kick by Daley.

Daley instigates a clinch.

Daley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McIntyre tries to close the distance and clinch but Daley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Daley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Daley lands a right hook to the body.
Daley connects with a good right hand that stumbles McIntyre. McIntyre circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Daley drops McIntyre with a straight left! Oh this is bad for McIntyre! Daley dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
