Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Blaze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Crews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blaze comes to the cage accompanied by The Dropkick Murphys-The Warriors Code. Crews has chosen The Game Belong to Me-UGK as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaze shoots in looking for a takedown. Crews tries to sprawl out of it but Blaze keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crews manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Crews is trying desperately to improve position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Crews can do anything to dispel that myth.

Crews lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Blaze feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
