Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samurai Oceans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Rasp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Rasp!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oceans avoids the head kick by Rasp.
Rasp ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oceans moves away.
Rasp throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Rasp lands a jab to the head.
Rasp missing with a left hand there. Oceans was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rasp takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Rasp misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rasp misses with a series of wild punches.
Rasp throws a right hand that Oceans ducks under and follows up with a left that Oceans also avoids with ease.
Rasp swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Oceans clinches up with Rasp and pushes him back against the cage.
Rasp letting Oceans take a breather here.
Oceans blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
The referee is keeping an eye on Oceans - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Rasp tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Oceans lands a nice elbow from the clinch.


It looks like Ken Rasp has been cut.

Oceans content to slow the pace in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rasp wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Oceans has him pressed against the cage.
