Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Will MacCallum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Reagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). MacCallum kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Anthem for the Underdog. Will MacCallum could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ronnie Reagan's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronnie Reagan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacCallum shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Reagan as he avoids it easily.
Reagan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Reagan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by MacCallum.
MacCallum fails to land the takedown.
MacCallum looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Reagan dodges the punch combination from MacCallum.
MacCallum looks to land a combination but Reagan avoids it well.
Reagan tries to clinch up but MacCallum circles away and keeps his distance.
MacCallum throws a series of punches but Reagan avoids them all with ease.
MacCallum tries for a takedown but Reagan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

MacCallum stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Reagan looks to land a combination but MacCallum avoids it well.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as MacCallum accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Reagan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst MacCallum is controlling him.
MacCallum passes Reagan's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
MacCallum works his way into side control.
MacCallum sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Reagan is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Reagan defending against the ground and pound.

MacCallum working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Reagan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked MacCallum off and has taken his back!
Reagan is trying to control but MacCallum is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.

Reagan moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, MacCallum has worked his arm free - good work by MacCallum!
MacCallum has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
MacCallum sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
MacCallum is looking to control Reagan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can MacCallum avoid being mounted?

MacCallum looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
MacCallum has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Reagan is working away from the top position though.
Reagan is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Reagan looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Reagan wants to stand up but MacCallum has a hold of him and won't allow it.
MacCallum works his way to full guard. Good work.
MacCallum wants to stand and escape but Reagan is having none of it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
MacCallum shoots in for a double leg but Reagan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
MacCallum feints and then cracks Reagan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reagan down.
MacCallum scores with a three punch combo!

MacCallum clinches with his opponent.
MacCallum wants a takedown.
MacCallum has Reagan pressed against the cage.
MacCallum changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Reagan fights it off and pushes away nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Will MacCallum dominated that round.
That's time! MacCallum's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Nice takedown defense from Reagan. No joy for MacCallum on that attempt.
Reagan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as MacCallum backs up against the cage.

Reagan moves into the clinch.
MacCallum drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Reagan prevents the takedown attempt.

MacCallum breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Reagan doesn't manage to clinch there - MacCallum circles away.

MacCallum closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Reagan to the mat! Reagan manages to get full guard.
MacCallum trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
MacCallum sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reagan's guard.
Reagan is breathing heavily.

MacCallum decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

MacCallum gets a takedown into half guard.

MacCallum postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Reagan to stand up.

MacCallum moves into the clinch.
MacCallum landing knees to the body.
MacCallum tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Reagan just stands there and leans against the cage.
Reagan jumps guard but MacCallum stands there with Reagan around his waist. Reagan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
MacCallum fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Reagan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

MacCallum breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Reagan thows a leg kick but MacCallum checks it
and MacCallum counters with a slapping leg kick.

MacCallum clinches with his opponent.
MacCallum prevents a takedown attempt there.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
MacCallum wants a takedown but no success here.

Reagan manages to break the clinch.
MacCallum circles away from the clinch attempt
and MacCallum counters with an outside leg kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
MacCallum closes the distance and clinches up with Reagan, looking for a takedown. MacCallum pushes Reagan against the cage but Reagan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
MacCallum looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

MacCallum has Reagan up against the cage in a clinch.
MacCallum scores with a shot to the side of Reagan's head.
MacCallum is working for takedown but Reagan is calmly controlling the position for now.
Reagan prevents MacCallum from breaking the clinch.

MacCallum turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

MacCallum has hold of Reagan's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Reagan seems comfortable defending it but MacCallum has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Reagan is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Reagan is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but MacCallum couldn't care less - he's delighted!
