The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivers slaps away a takedown attempt from Silva, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Rivers fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Silva looks gassed!
Rivers connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like Wand Silva has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rivers jabs at Silva's body.
Rivers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rivers scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Rivers scores with a hook to the body. Silva takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Rivers jabs at Silva's body.
Rivers cracks Silva with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Silva looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Rivers finish him?
Silva is rocked!
Silva loses concentration momentarily and Rivers pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Silva crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Rivers finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
