Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Lawler!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudson misses with a straight right.
Hudson lands a jab-cross combination.
Hudson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hudson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lawler is out of range and Hudson settles back down.
Gary Hudson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lawler throws a series of punches but Hudson moves out of range.
Hudson throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Lawler uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hudson has time to react.
Hudson throws a head kick that misses.
Hudson wants to clinch.
A punch lands to the side of Hudson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hudson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lawler momentarily.
Lawler scores with a decent looking hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hudson takes one to the side of the head.
Hudson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lawler moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Lawler scores with a shot to the body.
Lawler slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Lawler connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hudson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lawler counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hudson misses with a head kick.
Lawler lands with a cross.
Lawler moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lawler staying out of range there.
Lawler lands a lovely overhand right.
Lawler lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Hudson misses with a low kick.
Lawler is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Hudson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Lawler scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Hudson fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lawler is out of range.
Hudson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lawler counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Lawler closes the distance and clinches.
Lawler is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Lawler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hudson throws an overhand right that lands on Lawler's shoulder, as Lawler tries to avoid the shot.

Lawler moves into the clinch.
Hudson tries to stall but Lawler uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Hudson misses with a body punch.
Hudson with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Hudson wants to break free but Lawler has control.
Lawler lands a nice shot to the body.
Hudson is breathing heavily.
Hudson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Lawler breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hudson tries to clinch but Lawler moves away
and Lawler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hudson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lawler throws a right hand that Hudson ducks under and follows up with a left that Hudson also avoids with ease.
Hudson tries for a takedown but Lawler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Hudson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hudson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lawler lands with a hook. Hudson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lawler lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hudson at a distance.
Lawler bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hudson's head.

Lawler rushes Hudson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Lawler breaks the clinch.
Nice body punch from Lawler.
Lawler lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Lawler throws a combination. Hudson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Lawler drops Hudson with a beautiful combination! Hudson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lawler is looking for the KO!


Hudson is rocked!
Lawler feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Hudson crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
