The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plant closes the distance and clinches up with Thomas, looking for a takedown. Plant pushes Thomas against the ropes but Thomas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Thomas misses with a wild body shot.

Thomas lands a big uppercut and Plant crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Plant looks OK. Thomas waves Plant back to his feet!

Thomas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Plant circles away quickly and effectively.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
