The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hakk shoots in but Waara avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hakk is looking to clinch.
Hakk shoots for a double leg takedown but Waara sprawls well. He's pushed Hakk's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Janne Hakk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hakk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Waara's waist but Waara gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hakk off to one side.
WIlle Waara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Janne Hakk.
Hakk is looking to clinch but Waara is avoiding it.

Hakk shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hakk showed some decent athleticism there.
Hakk wants to stand up but Waara is controlling the position.
Hakk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Waara. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hakk is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Waara has his feet on Hakk's thighs here. He's pushed Hakk off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Hakk screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
