Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between furia apatico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hu Rah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rah tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but apatico swivels and escapes.
apatico moves in looking to clinch but Rah pushes him off.
apatico misses with a takedown

and Rah counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rah.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rah tries to free his leg and advance position but apatico is retaining full guard.
apatico wants to stand and escape but Rah is having none of it.
apatico is trying to hold Rah in close to prevent damage but Rah has managed to pass into half guard.

Rah stands up and beckons apatico to join him on the feet.
apatico keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Rah dives in and grabs apatico's left leg, looking for a takedown. apatico pushes down on Rah's head and hops out.
furia apatico has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hu Rah.

Rah misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rah lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

apatico's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Rah rushes apatico and presses him up against the cage.
apatico tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rah smiles and moves away.
Rah closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Rah bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Rah is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in apatico's half guard.

Rah tries to pass the half guard into mount. apatico knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Rah uses his free foot to push down on apatico's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for apatico.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Rah swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and apatico is now in Rah's guard. A big mistake from Rah there, giving up the dominant position!
apatico wants to control from the top but Rah keeps moving.
Rah manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Rah looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Still in half guard, Rah seems content to control.
Rah thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed apatico's head.
apatico is looking for a sweep. Rah is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

apatico won't allow Rah to pass to mount.
apatico wants to get back to his feet.

Despite being in the dominant position, Hu Rah just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Rah thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Rah tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rah has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Rah cracks apatico with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rah tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Hu Rah showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Rah changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. apatico looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Rah stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Rah feints and as apatico raises his hands in defense, Rah changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Rah gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Rah looks to land a combination. apatico sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Rah shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. apatico defends it nicely.
Rah tries to close the distance and clinch but apatico swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hu Rah is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
apatico keeps the fight on the outside.

Hu Rah comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rah has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
