Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Jardine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jardine might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pepper- Butthole Surfers. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris dives in and grabs Jardine's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jardine pushes down on Norris's head and hops out.
Norris looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jardine drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Norris tries to buck Jardine off but Jardine is having none of it.
Jardine moves into full mount!
Norris is bucking up trying to escape but Jardine cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Jardine lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Norris hang on?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jardine has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jardine lands a big shot there that rocks Norris but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Jardine unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Norris wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Jardine celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
