Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Rios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan Strauss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rios's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Their Law . Strauss has chosen Immigrant song-Led Zeppelin as his entrance music. Logan Strauss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rios misses with a hook.
Rios throws out a leg kick but Strauss moves out of range and Rios only half commits.
Rios misses with a double jab.
Rios misses with an uppercut.
Rios misses with a two punch combination.
Rios tries to close the distance and clinch but Strauss swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Strauss dodges the punch combination from Rios.
Strauss misses with a series of wild punches.
Strauss misses with a double jab.
Rios throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

so Strauss counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Rios is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Strauss is controlling him.
Strauss tries to free his leg and advance position but Rios is retaining full guard.

Strauss thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Strauss trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Strauss has gone for a leg lock! Rios slips out almost immediately though and dives into Strauss's guard.

Rios landing with the ground and pound.
Strauss looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rios is one step ahead there.
Rios wants to stand but Strauss is controlling his posture from full guard.
Rios is breathing heavily.

Strauss working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rios doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rios manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rios might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Strauss looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Rios passes into half guard.

Strauss wants to improve his position but Rios is controlling well.
Strauss is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Rios is looking to advance position but Strauss won't allow it.
Strauss wants to control the action here but instead Rios manages to pass to full mount!

Strauss manages to get to full guard.
Strauss bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rios's guard.

Strauss drops back looking for a leg! Rios is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rios manages to kick Strauss off! Strauss jumps back into Rios's guard.
Strauss pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rios is keeping the position for now.
Strauss trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Rios pulls Strauss in close to his closed guard and prevents Strauss from doing any damage or advancing position.
Strauss stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rios swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rios controls Strauss momentarily but Strauss frees himself.

Strauss avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Strauss trying to control but Rios is working from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Rios slow jab from Strauss misses its intended target.
Strauss defending well as Rios loads up on a big left hand.
Rios throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rios throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rios could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Strauss with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rios to score with a decent uppercut.
Rios throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A right-left combo lands from Rios.

Strauss avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Rios swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Strauss counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Strauss is trying for a kimura here. Rios looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Strauss wins by kimura!
