Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Ruoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond Hume (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruoff comes into the arena with Virtual Insanity blaring out of the sound system. Desmond Hume has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruoff blocks a head kick by Hume.

Ruoff drives through with a takedown into guard.

Ruoff drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hume looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hume looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hume!
Ruoff tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hume is putting a hurting on Ruoff here, landing some big shots from side control.

Ruoff is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hume off and has taken his back!
Hume is keeping busy.
Ruoff doesn't have the hooks in and Hume manages to turn into his guard.

Hume must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Ruoff is breathing heavily.
Hume lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Hume distracts Ruoff with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Oh Ruoff is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hume is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Hume loads up on a big left hand. Ruoff felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Hume looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Ruoff can't hide his disappointment, as Hume celebrates the victory.
