Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ben Avit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harrison King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Avit could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Harrison King's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Avit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Harrison King! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Avit slips a straight right by King. Avit lands a head kick. King smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Avit thows a left - swing and a miss! King throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
King staying out of range there. Avit misses with a low kick. Avit staying out of range there. King shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Avit sprawls well. Avit wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. King gets slowly back to his feet. Avit shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Avit showed some decent athleticism there. King regains full guard. Nicely done. Avit thows a big elbow that misses. King has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Avit can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. King looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Avit got a little sloppy there for a moment and King has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Avit has managed to get both his arms back between King's legs - danger averted. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Avit's guard. King seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Avit does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. King is pressing down on Avit's thigh, looking to free his foot. Avit is holding on for now. King performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Harrison King showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Avit's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Avit throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck King on the side of the head. A decent looking cross lands there for Avit. King lands a with a good body shot. Avit throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! King throwing hammer fists to the chest of Avit. What's that going to do exactly? Avit looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Avit slips a nice elbow through King's hands, connecting with King's forehead. Avit is thwarting King's attempts to control the position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Avit misses with an uppercut. King saw that one coming. Avit shoots in but King avoids the takedown attempt easily. King drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. King stands and throws Avit's legs to the side, diving into side control. King tries to score with some ground and pound. Avit controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Avit looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by King! Submission of the night perhaps?
