Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Stalin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khayyat Mhuyasan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stalin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Stalin darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Mhuyasan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Stalin is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Stalin has escaped and now he's on top!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Stalin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mhuyasan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stalin pushes down on Mhuyasan's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Stalin decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Mhuyasan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Stalin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
