The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahala throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Kahala escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Panzer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Panzer wants to get up but he can't break Kahala's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Panzer has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Panzer postures up in Kahala's guard and throws a big left but Kahala blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kahala pushes a forearm under Panzer's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Panzer is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
