Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dudu Morais (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burat Puke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morais's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Man in The Box. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dudu Morais!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Burat Puke!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Puke, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Puke shoots in for a takedown but Morais shows good takedown defense.
Morais throws a head kick but Puke moves out of range.

Morais closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Puke did well to prevent Morais getting side control.
Morais tries to pass the half guard into mount. Puke knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Morais looks to land a strike but Puke avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Morais has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Puke is proving hard to escape from.
Morais might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Puke is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morais is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Puke sees it coming and defends easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Morais wants to stand up but Puke has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Puke is trying to maintain the position but Morais is very close to passing his half guard.
Morais tries to pass to full mount but Puke defends it.

Morais is trying to control the action in half guard but Puke is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Puke fails with a takedown attempt.
Morais blocks the body kick.
Morais fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Puke on the side of the head.
Morais tries to close the distance and clinch up but Puke swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Puke stuffs the takedown.
Morais shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Puke holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Puke just misses with a elbow thrown towards Morais's brow.

Puke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Puke counters with a takedown into side control.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dudu Morais. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Morais is letting Puke control him for a moment.
Morais is trying to control Puke's posture but Puke avoids it.
Puke just content to control the position.
Morais is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Puke is controlling him well.

Puke tries to clinch but Morais is having none of it.

Puke shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Morais manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Morais is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Puke is working to tighten is grip on Morais's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Morais has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Puke is really squeezing tight and eventually Morais passes out! Puke breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
