Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ted Cyanide (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cyanide throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Powers's waist but Powers gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cyanide off to one side.
Powers scores with a jab to the jaw.
Powers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cyanide moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Powers connects with a good right hand that stumbles Cyanide. Cyanide circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Cyanide shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Powers sprawls well. Powers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cyanide gets slowly back to his feet.

Powers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cyanide has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Powers has managed to get both his arms back between Cyanide's legs - danger averted.
Cyanide is breathing heavily.
Powers wants to control from the top but Cyanide keeps moving.
Cyanide not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Powers throws a big right hand that misses.

Powers connects with a couple of short punches.

Cyanide looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Powers has picked Cyanide up and slammed him! Cyanide can't keep hold of the triangle and Powers manages to pass to side control!

Powers might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cyanide kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Powers can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ted Cyanide will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Cyanide drops back, looking for a kneebar! Powers looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Powers looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Powers!

Cyanide manages to work his way to half guard, despite Powers's best efforts.
Powers looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cyanide with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Well Powers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
