Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Darnielle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Murder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murder has chosen God Save the Queen as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darnielle throws a leg kick but Murder sees it coming and moves out of range.

Darnielle moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Murder loads up on a big right hand but Darnielle slips the punch.
Murder does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Murder counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Darnielle walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Murder checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Good work by Murder as he checks the leg kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Darnielle lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Murder has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Murder and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Darnielle throws a push kick but Murder slaps the foot to one side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like John Darnielle has been cut.
Murder bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Murder is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round!Darnielle had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Murder, right into the meat.

Darnielle is looking to wear down Murder with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Darnielle ducks right into an uppercut from Murder.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Murder sends Darnielle crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Murder is motioning to the referee to let Darnielle up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

and Murder counters with a nice right hand that sends Darnielle toppling to the canvas! Darnielle scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Murder finish him?!
Oh Darnielle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Darnielle seems to have got his legs back now.

Murder lands a big right hand that sends Darnielle crashing to the mat! Murder stays standing though and waves Darnielle back to his feet!
Murder walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Darnielle drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Murder swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Darnielle's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
