Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Hans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Will Hans was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcus Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Will Hans!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in but Hans avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
Hans stuns Jones with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hans misses with an uppercut.
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hans connects with a looping right hand.
Jones ducks under a wild hook from Hans.
Jones wants to clinch.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hans moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hans lands a body shot.
Hans throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jones stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jones takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Hans's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Hans duly obliges.

It looks like Marcus Jones has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hans lands a slapping body shot.
Jones wants to clinch up but Hans keeps it at a distance.
Hans swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Jones tries to bum rush Hans with a series of wild strikes but Hans uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hans misses with a few strikes there.
Jones drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Jones shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Hans is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hans tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hans wants to use the ropes to get back to his feet here.
Hans is working to get back to half guard.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jones throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Hans is trying desperately to improve position.
Hans is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Hans sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Jones throwing shots but Hans is blocking nicely.

Hans regains full guard. Nicely done.

Hans looking for a triangle here. Jones is fighting it but it looks tight! Hans pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Jones is tapping out - this one is all over!
