Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brass Knuckles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knuckles comes to the cage accompanied by Rooster. Brass Knuckles has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Knuckles swivels and escapes.
Tucker moves out of range of the body kick from Knuckles.
Knuckles is looking to land body kicks.
Tucker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tucker misses with a jab, cross combination.
Knuckles connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Tucker's hands.

It looks like Tom Tucker has been cut.
Knuckles misses with a straight right.
Knuckles misses with an attempted mid kick.
Knuckles gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Tucker.

Tucker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Tucker wants to free his trapped foot but Knuckles is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Knuckles is staying active underneath Tucker, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Tucker might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Knuckles kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Tucker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Tucker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tucker in particular looking to stall.
Knuckles is looking for a sweep. Tucker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Tucker is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Knuckles doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tucker.

Knuckles throws a hook but Tucker avoids it easily.

Tucker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Knuckles moves away.

Knuckles throws a head kick but Tucker moves out of range.
Tucker lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Tucker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tucker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Knuckles is breathing heavily.
Tucker wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tucker goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Tucker is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Knuckles rather than just go for the knockout.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Tucker lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Knuckles backs up against the cage.
Tucker misses with the combination.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Knuckles dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Tucker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Knuckles.
Knuckles swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tucker misses the shot to the body.
Tucker comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Knuckles throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tucker sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Knuckles throws a half hearted mid kick.

Tucker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Knuckles's guard.

Tucker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Knuckles swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tucker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Knuckles can't keep his opponent in guard - Tucker advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Knuckles is trying to stand back up but Tucker is controlling him
Tucker is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Tucker is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Tucker content just to control the position here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tucker can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Knuckles is looking to escape.

Tucker jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Knuckles manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Knuckles pushes Tucker away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tucker gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Tucker looking to control but instead Knuckles has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Tucker tries to free his leg and advance position but Knuckles is retaining full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Knuckles is not content to let Tucker control the position.

Tucker is looking to take a break and control but Knuckles is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tucker prevents Knuckles from standing back up.

Knuckles throws a hook but Tucker avoids it easily.

Tucker darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Knuckles throws an overhand right that lands on Tucker's shoulder, as Tucker tries to avoid the shot.
Tucker will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Tucker moves out of range as Knuckles throws a body kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Knuckles. That's going to slow Tucker down.

Brass Knuckles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Tucker.

Knuckles ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Tom Tucker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Knuckles throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Tucker walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Tucker looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
