Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rick Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waldorf Astoria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robinson comes to the cage accompanied by Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Astoria misses with a body shot.
Robinson defending well as Astoria loads up on a big left hand.
Astoria throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Robinson sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Astoria counters with a nice low kick that buckles Robinson's knee momentarily.
Astoria fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Astoria checks a leg kick.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Robinson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Astoria has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Astoria and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Robinson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Astoria looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Astoria is pushing Robinson's head away, looking to escape. Robinson manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
You can see the frustration on Astoria's face as Robinson controls the position.

Robinson tries to advance to mount but Astoria denies him.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Astoria uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Robinson.

Astoria lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Robinson circles away quickly and effectively.
