Black comes into the arena with IN FLAMES - F(r)iend blaring out of the sound system. Frank Black has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black takes a swing at Boyd's ribcage but misses.
Black takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Frank Black has been cut.
Boyd connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Black momentarily.
Boyd throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Black throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A big left from Boyd misses.
Boyd throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boyd throws a big shot that misses.
Boyd throws a series of punches but Black moves out of range.
Boyd jabs at Black's body.
A telegraphed right hand from Black misses the target.
Billy Boyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black moves away from the strike by Boyd.
Black ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Boyd throws the left hand but Black avoids the punch easily.
Black fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boyd avoids it really well and circles away.
Black walks into a stiff left hand from Boyd.
Black is breathing heavily.
Black looks to land a combination but Boyd avoids it well.
Black changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boyd tries to avoid it but Black manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boyd to the ground. Boyd escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boyd swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boyd stalks Black and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Black's face. Black staggers backwards, shaken.
A big right from Black misses.
Boyd walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Black drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Boyd swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Black's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
