Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Phil Berry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cha Cha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Berry comes to the ring accompanied by Tony Allen - Take Me Higher. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cha Cha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Berry closes the distance and clinches.

Cha closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Berry to the mat! Berry manages to get full guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cha is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Cha is not content to let Berry control the position.

Berry throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Berry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cha swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cha scores with a decent looking hook.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Berry ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cha moves away.
Berry misses with a takedown attempt
and Cha counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phil Berry. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Berry connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Cha scores with a jab to the head.
A decent looking cross lands there for Cha.

and Berry counters with a takedown into side control.
Cha is looking to reverse the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Berry wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cha keeps working.
Cha is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

A close round but Cha Cha will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Cha might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Cha tries to keep at a distance but Berry has taken the fight into the clinch.

Cha breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The crowd cheers as Berry lands an impressive looking overhand right. Cha doesn't seem phased though.
Cha swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cha lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.


It looks like Phil Berry has been cut.
Cha walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Berry takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Berry is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cha's half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Cha throws a left and a right that both miss

and Berry decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cha's guard.
Cha controls Berry momentarily but Berry frees himself.
Cha can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Berry controls the pace.
Phil Berry overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Cha escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Berry gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Cha is breathing heavily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Berry wants to control from the top but Cha keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Phil Berry dominated that second round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Cha Cha seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Horrible takedown by Berry or perhaps it was just good defense by Cha which made him look bad.

Cha is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Berry pulls his head out easily.

Cha is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Berry uses his free foot to push down on Cha's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Cha.
Berry pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Berry lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Cha wants to hold on but Berry pushes him away.
Berry wants to control the pace but Cha is squirming around nicely.

Cha sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Berry wants to stand up but Cha is controlling the position.
Cha has his hands clasped together around Berry's back. He's all about the action.
Cha strikes from the bottom but Berry passes into mount!
Berry avoids the attempt from Cha to control.
Cha is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Phil Berry.
I think Berry has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
