Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Jorge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

White instigates a clinch.
White wants a takedown.
Jorge lands a hook to the side of the head.
White avoiding damage as Jorge throws knees to the body.
White fails to pull the fight into his guard.
White is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
White is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jorge pulls him back up using the underhooks.

White goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jorge has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for White but great work by Jorge.

White drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
White is breathing heavily.

Jorge gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and White counters with a head kick. That will keep Jorge thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

White stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jorge swivels though and keeps the full guard.
White is pushing down on Jorge's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jorge is fighting to maintain full guard but White has managed to sneak the leg through.

White wants to control from the top but Jorge keeps moving.
White is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jorge is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

White seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jorge for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jorge is trying to maintain the position but White is very close to passing his half guard.

Jorge is looking for a sweep. White is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

White is trying to control. Jorge wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
