Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hank Holly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Hargh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holly comes to the cage accompanied by Gotham Road - On My Way. Hargh is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dominant view. Hank Holly had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hank Holly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ken Hargh !
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holly throws a big shot that misses.
A combination from Holly does no damage.
Holly slaps away a takedown attempt from Hargh , before circling back to the center of the mat.
Holly throws a combination. Hargh tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Ken Hargh has been cut.
Holly tries to close the distance and clinch but Hargh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Holly fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hargh shoots in and drives through. Holly sprawls well.
Holly throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Holly throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hargh shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hargh circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hargh dodges the punch combination from Holly.
Hargh throws a series of punches but Holly avoids them all with ease.
Holly getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Hargh works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Hargh throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Holly.
Hargh moves out of range as Holly strikes.
Hargh ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Holly moves away.
Hank Holly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hargh feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hargh is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Hargh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hargh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Hargh counters with a single leg into guard. Holly didn't expect that.
Holly wants to stand and escape but Hargh is having none of it.

Hargh is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Holly wants to get back to his feet but Hargh is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hargh drops back looking for a leg! Holly is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Holly manages to kick Hargh off! Hargh jumps back into Holly's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Holly scores with a one two! Hargh had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Hank Holly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holly looks to land a combination but Hargh avoids it well.
Hargh misses with a few strikes there.
Holly clobbers Hargh with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Holly looks to land a right hand but Hargh moved out of range.

Hargh bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Hargh looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

so Hargh counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Holly wants to get back to his feet but Hargh is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That was a close round but I would say that Hank Holly will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Holly is looking to clinch but Hargh is avoiding it.

Hargh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Holly but Holly pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Holly misses with an uppercut. Hargh saw that one coming.
Holly bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hargh 's head.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holly wants to get back to his feet but Hargh is dominant here and he's now got Holly's back!

Hargh somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.

Hargh is persistently looking for the submission but Holly is defending it well.
Holly is really stuck here.

Hargh has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Holly has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Hargh scores with a one two! Holly had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Holly pushes Hargh away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hargh gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
