Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blah Blah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blah has chosen Egg as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marquez looks to throw the jab but Blah is out of range.

Marquez throws a leg kick but Blah checks it.
Blah throws a body punch but Marquez moves out of range.
Marquez lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Blah at a distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Blah is defended easily by Marquez.
Marquez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Blah fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Marquez on the side of the head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round but I would say that Antonio Marquez will probably get the nod.

Blah changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Marquez tries to avoid it but Blah manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Marquez to the ground. Marquez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Blah shoots in looking for a takedown. Marquez tries to sprawl out of it but Blah keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Marquez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Blah fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Marquez manages to avoid it.
Marquez throws a leg kick but Blah moved away.
Horrible takedown by Blah or perhaps it was just good defense by Marquez which made him look bad.

Blah is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Marquez with him. Marquez is trying to defend but Blah has an arm under the chin now! Marquez grimaces and is forced to tap out!
