The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuukkeli wants to slow Kuorma down by chopping away at his legs.
Kuorma keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kuukkeli tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kuorma sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kuukkeli somewhat.
Kuukkeli misses the shot to the body.
Max Kuorma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuukkeli misses with a kick to the body.

Kuukkeli looks to land a body kick but Kuorma moved away.

Kuorma throws a hook but Kuukkeli blocks it.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Kuukkeli is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kuorma rolls with it to try and escape but Kuukkeli cranks on the arm and Kuorma is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
