The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacquiao is looking to clinch.

Ikari drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Pacquiao looking for a sweep. Not yet Pacquiao, not yet.

Ikari is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ikari wants to pass the guard but Pacquiao is keeping the position.
Pacquiao wants to stand up but Ikari is controlling him.
Ikari works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Ikari is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ikari trying to mount his opponent but Pacquiao defends it.

Ikari is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ikari prevents Pacquiao from standing back up.

Pacquiao really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ikari. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ikari is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Pacquiao is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
