The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
vlad tightens his grip and picks Morsaro up, before dumping him to the ground. Morsaro manages to land in guard.
vlad postures up.
vlad avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
vlad scoring with some ground and pound.
Morsaro is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Morsaro can't keep his opponent in guard - vlad advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
vlad drops an elbow to the side of Morsaro's head.

vlad takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

vlad lands a big shot there that rocks Morsaro but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

vlad is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Morsaro can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
vlad wants to finish this one by submission but Morsaro is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from vlad.

vlad fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Morsaro is trying desperately to improve position.
vlad wants to take Morsaro's back here but Morsaro is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Morsaro is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
vlad tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
vlad tries to reverse the position but Morsaro maintains control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

vlad decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Morsaro is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of vlad's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take vlad's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morsaro has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but vlad can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
