Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dexa Donk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nimith Luanglathay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nimith Luanglathay looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dexa Donk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nimith Luanglathay!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk looks for a takedown but Luanglathay sprawls well.
Luanglathay tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Donk misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Donk could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Luanglathay moves into the clinch successfully.
Donk tries to break the clinch but Luanglathay is controlling the position.
Donk is looking to control Luanglathay's arms but Luanglathay gets an underhook and turns him. Now Donk has his back to the cage.
Donk on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Donk managing to block the knees to the body from Luanglathay.
Luanglathay is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Donk gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Luanglathay pulls guard successfully.
Donk trying to control the position from guard on top but Luanglathay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Donk would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Luanglathay throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Donk sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Luanglathay manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Donk manages to get himself to full guard.
Luanglathay passes into half guard.

Luanglathay takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Luanglathay landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Donk tries to kick Luanglathay off but Luanglathay keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Luanglathay escapes and gets back to his feet.
Donk is breathing heavily.
Donk wants to clinch up but Luanglathay keeps it at a distance.
A head kick from Donk lands but Luanglathay takes it in his stride.
Luanglathay throws a low kick but Donk avoids it.
Donk scores with a jab to the body.
Luanglathay closes the distance looking to clinch

so Donk counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Donk might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Donk decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Luanglathay, up you get!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Luanglathay seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Luanglathay throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Donk sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Luanglathay clinches with his opponent.
Luanglathay lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Luanglathay manages to break the clinch.

Donk jumps guard but Luanglathay stands there with Donk around his waist. Donk gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dexa Donk. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Luanglathay lands an uppercut.
Donk fails to pull guard.
Luanglathay connects with a nasty looking knee right to Donk's face.
Luanglathay looking to throw knees to the head but Donk is blocking nicely.

Luanglathay gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Luanglathay is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Luanglathay throws a big right hand that misses.
Donk preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Luanglathay lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Luanglathay wants to control from the top but Donk keeps moving.

Luanglathay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Donk swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Luanglathay stuffs the takedown.

Donk has closed the distance and engaged Luanglathay in a clinch.
Luanglathay tries for a takedown. No joy.
Luanglathay tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Donk drags the fight down to the ground.
Donk not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Luanglathay stands and steps away. Donk gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

so Donk counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Donk missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Donk uses his free foot to push down on Luanglathay's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Luanglathay.
Donk wants to control the pace but Luanglathay is squirming around nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Nimith Luanglathay will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Donk drags the fight down to the ground.
Donk is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Luanglathay controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Donk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Luanglathay trying to control but Donk is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Luanglathay stands and steps away. Donk gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Donk holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Donk connects with a nasty looking knee right to Luanglathay's face.
Luanglathay wants a takedown.
Donk tries to pull guard but Luanglathay holds him up against the cage and eventually Donk drops back down to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Donk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Luanglathay wants to clinch up but Donk keeps it at a distance.
Luanglathay throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Donk pushes Luanglathay up against the cage in a clinch.

Luanglathay lands a takedown into guard.
Donk not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Luanglathay slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Luanglathay pushing down on Donk's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Luanglathay in particular looking to stall.
Donk wants to control but Luanglathay is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Donk tries to roll over but Luanglathay keeps him under control.
Donk makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Donk.

Luanglathay has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Donk to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Luanglathay is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Donk pulls down on the head and he's put Luanglathay to sleep! This one is all over!
