Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jax Briggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Lesnar's choice of entrance music: YOU JUST LOST - To ME. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lesnar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Briggs sprawls well initially but Lesnar persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Briggs has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lesnar is working away from the top position though.

Briggs is in trouble now - Lesnar has advanced to mount!
Lesnar thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Briggs is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lesnar is landing with some decent strikes but Briggs is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Lesnar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
