Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between jeff lewbowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil London (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). lewbowski comes to the cage accompanied by Gipsy kings - hotel california. Phil London has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, jeff lewbowski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Phil London!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

lewbowski drives through and clinches with London against the cage.
lewbowski keeps control of London as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
lewbowski using the Thai plumb to throw knees but London has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
lewbowski is trying to drag London to the mat but London just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
London jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as lewbowski walks away with a smile on his face. London gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
The fight stays on the outside here - lewbowski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
lewbowski shoots in for a double leg but London sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

London shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
London trying to control the pace.

London stands up out of the half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

lewbowski gets caught flat footed, as London shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

London gets to his feet. lewbowski looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
lewbowski throws a head kick but London moves out of range.
lewbowski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. London tries to avoid it but lewbowski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag London to the ground. London escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for jeff lewbowski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
London shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts lewbowski as he jumps to the side.
No luck for London with that takedown attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from London is defended easily by lewbowski.

London looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
London is figuring out what he wants to do next.

London throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
London is looking to advance position but lewbowski won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

London decides to stand up.
lewbowski wants to clinch.
jeff lewbowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
London misses with a low kick.

lewbowski moves into the clinch successfully.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
London jumps guard but lewbowski stands there with London around his waist. London gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

London breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
lewbowski wants to clinch up but London keeps it at a distance.
lewbowski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and London counters by moving into the clinch.
lewbowski is breathing heavily.
London is trying to break the clinch but lewbowski is controlling him.
lewbowski fails to pull guard.
London looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

London pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
London throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
lewbowski tries to clinch

and London counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for lewbowski!
London misses with a head shot.
London controlling the pace for now.
lewbowski wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Poor strikes thrown by London there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
London pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Phil London dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


London throws a head kick that misses

and lewbowski holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
lewbowski is looking to control London's arms but London gets an underhook and turns him. Now lewbowski has his back to the cage.
London is trying to drag lewbowski to the mat but lewbowski just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
lewbowski tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
London managing to block the knees to the body from lewbowski.
London stalls.
lewbowski tries a knee to the head but London blocks it.

London jumps guard.
London looking to hit a scissor sweep but lewbowski is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
London trying to strike off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
London has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

London has an active guard here but lewbowski has managed to pass into half guard.

London kicks off lewbowski and gets to his feet.
lewbowski takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

London shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches lewbowski napping and manages to drive through into side control!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
London is putting a hurting on lewbowski here, landing some big shots from side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
lewbowski regains half guard, as London was trying to land strikes.
Phil London has got the better of the ground game so far.
London seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
lewbowski is looking to improve his position.

London uses his free foot to push down on lewbowski's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for lewbowski.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
BOOM! London connects with a massive shot to the dome!
London tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Phil London showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

London shoots in but lewbowski avoids the takedown attempt easily.
lewbowski moves out of range of the leg kick from London.
London is trying hard to land a takedown here. lewbowski sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
jeff lewbowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil London.

London is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in lewbowski's half guard.
London not doing much here.
London takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
London with the ground and pound but lewbowski uses the opportunity to regain guard.

London is stalling here but it's allowed lewbowski to get half guard.
London lands strikes from half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with London in particular looking to stall.
London's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

London is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so lewbowski is just riding it out for now. London eventually gives up the hold.

lewbowski won't allow London to pass to mount.
London works his way into side control.
London sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but lewbowski is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
jeff lewbowski has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

London stands up and beckons lewbowski to his feet.
London shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says lewbowski as he avoids it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from London.
London buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

London shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than London was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Phil London comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got London winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
