Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Diago Jalapino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Canelo Jhonson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jalapino looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jhonson is fending him off so far but Jalapino persists. Nope, Jhonson circles away and we're back to standing.

Jalapino fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jhonson sprawls well initially but Jalapino persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Jalapino looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Jhonson is looking to escape.

Jalapino slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jalapino thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jalapino, as that shot connected.
