Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leon Czolgosz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Czolgosz misses with the combination.
Czolgosz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Czolgosz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tyler manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Czolgosz wants to control from the top but Tyler keeps moving.
Tyler manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Czolgosz manages to get himself to full guard.
Czolgosz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tyler controls the pace.

I looks like Tyler might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Tyler got a little sloppy there for a moment and Czolgosz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tyler has managed to get both his arms back between Czolgosz's legs - danger averted.
Czolgosz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tyler is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Czolgosz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tyler's back instead.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Tyler is nestled in close to Czolgosz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Tyler counters with a single leg into guard. Czolgosz didn't expect that.

Czolgosz is looking for a triangle but Tyler pushes his legs off easily.
Tyler decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Czolgosz feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Tyler stands and steps away. Czolgosz gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Tyler counters by moving into the clinch.
Tyler has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Czolgosz clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Tyler has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Czolgosz has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Tyler is breathing heavily.
Tyler doesn't have the hooks in and Czolgosz manages to turn into his guard.
Czolgosz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Czolgosz misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Czolgosz thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Tyler is not content to let Czolgosz control the position.

Well Tyler has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
