The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage throws a leg kick which misses Gravas's front leg but catches the back leg as Gravas tries to avoid it.
Gravas takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Arnaud Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good leg kick by Savage there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gravas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Savage pinned against the cage. Savage gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Gravas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Savage looks for the body kick but Gravas saw that one coming.

Gravas shoots in looking for a takedown. Savage tries to sprawl out of it but Gravas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Savage manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gravas on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Savage. Savage obviously looking to wear him down.

Savage throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gravas stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Gravas. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Gravas has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Savage finds it's way round the side to connect with Gravas's head.

Savage lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Gravas crumples to the floor! Savage milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
